The good news is that it’s still very easy, but you have to take a different route. First, open the Instagram app and tap on the profile icon at the bottom. Select the three vertical dots at the top right, and then you’ll need to scroll down until you see the Blocked users option.
Tap on it, and you’ll see a list of all the Instagram users you’ve blocked since you joined the social network. Tap on the user you want to unblock, and you’ll see the blue Unblock button to the right of the profile picture.
You’ll get a message saying that the user will now be able to request to follow you on Instagram and that they will never know that you have unblocked them. After that, you’ll get another message saying that you can block them at any time.

Since the mind usually remembers images better than words, it’s probably easier to look at the profile pictures. If not, you have both the profile name and the picture side by side. With all the patience in the world search for the profile, you’re looking for.
Once you’ve found the profile, just follow the instructions above and everything will go back to the way it was. But what if the person you want to unblock isn’t following you back? Even if this is true, there is still hope because it’s as easy as finding the profile of someone you know that is following the person you want to unblock on Instagram and look through their list.

This is only going to be an option if you haven’t synced your Facebook contacts with your Instagram account. Maybe the person you’re trying to find is one of your contacts on Facebook, and that makes things a lot easier.
Open Instagram’s settings and tap on the Find Friends option. Then, tap on Connected to Facebook on the Settings menu and click on the option at the top of the display. The wording may change depending on the device you have.
